Statement on REACH compliance and Substances of Very High Concern
The REACH Regulation 1907/2006/EC, adopted by the European institutions and enter into force progressively from 1 June 2007, requires manufacturers and/or importers of chemicals to preregister and/or register those substances in accordance with the procedures and timelines prescribed within the Regulation. As a Downstream User, MELITEK have worked with our raw materials suppliers to ensure continuity of supply of our meliflex compound products.
Our meliflex compound products are considered preparations and therefore not subject to registration under REACH. Also, the main product ingredients are polymers and thus exempted from registration.
We are pleased to confirm that the monomers and relevant additives used to produce used polymer raw materials has been registered by our suppliers, as manufacturers.
We certify that no substances listed in the ECHA’s candidate list for Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) as defined in Article 59 of Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 update on 15 January 2018 are present above 0.1% by weight in our meliflex products.
We hope that this information satisfy your requirements. If we can be of further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us at +45 70 250 255 or REACH@melitek.com.
