MELITEK introduce new innovative film materials at In-house EXPO 2009 at W&H in Lengerich, Germany on November 10-12, 2009.

At the biggest in-house event in the history of W&H there will be several world premieres by W&H waiting to be presented to the public and W&H will unveil their newest technologies in film extrusion and printing.

At the event, W&H will make a world debut of their brand new AQUAREX Blown Film Line featuring water cooling of the film bubble (working width 1600 mm / film width 1100 mm) yielding with an impressive output, thickness tolerance and optical properties.

The line will be displayed running newest generation of MELIFLEX XF polypropylene based film materials specially developed for infusion bag market.

The new generation MELIFLEX XF materials feature:

• High softness and low flexibility
• Superior optical properties, clarity >99% and haze <1%
• High gloss
• Excellent heat sealing properties
• Steam sterilizable at 121C
• High impact strength at low temperature
• Compliance to European Pharmacopoeia 3.2.2 and pass cytotoxicity tests according to ISO 10993-5 and biocompatibility tests according to USP Class VI.
