meliflex polyolefin alloys

meliflex is a specially designed polyolefin resin based on TPE and TPO technology and specifically developed for pharmaceutical packaging and medical devices. The chemical nature of meliflex makes it ideal for medical applications as it is produced from pure and chemical inert raw materials. meliflex is latex- and PVC-free and does not contain any phthalate plasticizers. meliflex is available for:

• film extrusion (cast and blown)
• tube extrusion
• injection moulding
• blow moulding

meliflex medical applications

meliflex is offered in a broad range of grades which varies in heat resistance, toughness, and flexibility. It is available for both ridged and soft applications requiring shore durometer hardness ranging from 20A to 65D. meliflex features excellent optical properties, kink resistance, and resilience and impact properties at low temperatures. meliflex is available for steam sterilization at 121°C, EtO and beta/gamma radiation without loss of its physical characteristics.
