meliflex XF for film applications

meliflex XF is specialty materials targeted for film applications features following:

• Flexibility without use of plasticizers - no plasticizer diffusion
• No drug absorption due to its high chemical resistance
• Low density (≤0.9 g/cm3)
• Excellent water vapour barrier and good strength enabling down gauging of film compared with PVC (200 μm vs. 350 μm)
• Good impact and shock resistance at low temperatures
• Excellent transparency
• Sterilizable by autoclave at 121°C
• Excellent sealing properties allowing low seal temperatures and peal-seals in multi-chamber bags
• Excellent processability (blown and cast film extrusion)
