MELITEK have represented Flint Hills Resources' (former Huntsman Polymers) products since 1987 in Scandinavia and in 2001 we were appointed their agent for all of Europe. In 2008, MELITEK was appointed distributor for all Flint Hills PP products in Europe and service European customers either with direct supply from USA or via some of our warehouse in Europe.

Flint Hills is fully owned by Koch Industries that is the largest private cooperation in USA with an annual turnover exceeding $100bn. Koch acquired the polymers business in 2007 from Huntsman Corp.

Flint Hills Resources offer a variety of versatile commodity polypropylene resins, including general purpose homopolymer, random copolymers and impact copolymers. Flint Hills polypropylene business includes several high-end specialty grades  for the most demanding applications where strength, quality, consistency and exceptional performance are critical.

Polypropylene is a versatile thermoplastic resin available in a wide range of formulations from general purpose homopolymer, random copolymer and impact copolymer grades to highly specialized resins for engineering applications.

Grades of polypropylene are available to meet the needs of various fabrication processes such as extrusion, injection molding, thermoforming, blow molding, biaxially oriented film (BOPP), fiber spinning, slit tape, extrusion coating, and laminating.

The wide range of physical properties and relative ease of processing make polypropylene an extremely attractive material capable of competing with more expensive resins in a number of demanding applications.
