Statement on REACH compliance (1907/2006/EC)

The REACH Regulation 1907/2006/EC was adopted by the European institutions on 18 December 2006, and it enter into force progressively from 1 June 2007, requires manufacturers and/or importers of chemicals to preregister and/or register those substances in accordance with the procedures and timelines prescribed within the Regulation. As a Downstream User, we have worked with our raw materials suppliers to ensure continuity of supply of MELITEK compound products.

Our meliflex compound products are considered preparations and therefore not subject to registration under REACH. Also, the main product ingredients are polymers and thus exempted from registration.

We are pleased to confirm that the monomers and relevant additives used to produce used polymer raw materials has been pre-registered before 1 December 2008 either by our raw materials suppliers, as manufacturers, or by us, as importer.

Please note that our meliflex compound products does not intentionally per our information contain any substances listed on ECHA's current candidate list for Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) as defined in Article 57 of Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006.
